Wainui Y.F.C. Visits Board Mills
The immense size of the boilers used at the Whakatane Board Mills impressed members of the Wainui Young Farmers’ Club when they made a visit to the mill. Dividirig into two groups the party made a thorough inspection of the whole works.
The board machine, 330 feet long, caused much interest while the dextei’ity of the packers in the packing room drew admiring comments. Following the tour the leader of the party expressed appreciation of the assistance given in making the visit possible.
