Eleven fours and five sixes 'were included itn a fine century Ly W. McKenzie who was top scorer for United who defeated Galatea by 1.28 runs in a cricket match at Whakatane on Saturday. While McKenzie did well in batting his. team mate L. R. Spring shone in the bowling when he claimed three wickets for eight runs. Galatea was faced with accurate bowling and the batsmen seemed unable to settle down. Details:—
