BAY OF PLENTY LICENSING DISTRICT ISSUE OF NEW PUBLICANS’ AND WHOLESALE LICENSES Notice is hereby given that the Licensing Control Commission has authorised the issue of one new Publican’s License at Edgecumbe, one new publican’s License at Whakatane and one new Wholesale License at Whakatane and that the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee will receive and consider plications for such Licenses. Ap-‘ plications must be made in accordance with the Licensing Act, 1908, and the Licensing Amendment Act, 1948, and must be lodged with the Clerk of the Licensing Committee not later than the 18th day of April 1950. The areas or localities within which the Licenses are authorised to be issued are specified in the Schedule below. Particulars of the actual or minimum standards of accommodation and services determined by the Control Commission and required to be provided in the proposed licensed premises have been deposited in the Office of the Magistrate’s Court at Whakatane, and are available for public inspection during office hours. Edgecumbe: Situate within the area formed by a circle with a radius of half a mile and the central point of which is the middle of the existing bridge carrying the Railway across the Rangitaiki River at Edgecumbe.
