Girls' Marching

WHAKATANE TEAM TRAINS STEADILY

Extensive training three a week and during the week-end is now carried out by the Whakatane Uriited Girls’ Marching team under its coach, Mr D. O. Stewart. In the past few weeks the team has improved considerably and is expected to be at peak form by the Whakatane and Rangitaiki' A. and P. show on February 25.

The team has been practicing steadily the intricate movements required in the marching competitions and is steadily mastering them. It is? expected to- meet some experienced outside N competition this month. ' \
