Buoyant Prices At Lamb & Ewe Fair

New Zealand Loan and Mercantile report having held their Annual Lamb and Ewe" Fair at the Whakatane Saleyards yesterday. In view of the very dry weather conditions prevailing, the demand for all offerings was good, and realisations were buoyant throughout. Prices ranges follow: —- Ewe lambs, 38s to 39s 6d; wether lambs, tops, 28s to 30s; mediums, 26s to 275; small, 17s to 20s; B/F lambs, fats out, 24s 6d to 265; smalls 20s 6d to 21s 6d; 2-tooth ewes, 49s 3d to 51s 3d; 4 and 5 year ewes, 35s 6d to 395; 6 year ewes, 25s 9d to 30s; hoggets, 38s. •
