Starting Positions For Games Rowing

Two Whakatane crews in races to be held in conjunction with the British Empire Games rowing at Lake Karapiro on February 6 have drawn number one position. They are Whakatane No. 2 in the Youths Fours and Whakatane No. 1 in the Karapiro Open Fours. A further local crew, Whakatane No. 1, has drawn position six in the Youths’ Fours.

Also in the Karapiro Open Fours Whakatane No. 2 has drawn sixth position. In the maiden fours Whakatane has drawn eleventh position out of 14 starters, In the Youths’ Fours there are nine starters and eight in the Karapiro Open Fours.
