Staff and Ex-staff of the Opouriao Dairy Co. and past and present residents of the Opouriao Valley (including Taneatua) to a Social to be held in the Taneatua Hall at 8 p.m. on January 26, 1950, to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the Company and a presentation to Mr Moody on his retirement as Secretary of the Company. Celebrations are also being held during the day in 'the form of a sports programme interspersed with entertainment and speeches, children’s events, novelty events, Maori hangi, lunch, afternoon tea etc., etc., to which an open invitation is also extended.
