Full Yarding Of Beef Cattle At Te Teko
A full yarding of fat and store cattle and a small number of dairy cattle were auctioned at the Te Teko sale on Monday. Bidding was slow to begin but developed as the sale progressed, prices comparing favourably with outside districts. Prices ranged as follows: Fat Jersey cows, £8 to £ll 2s 6d; store cattle, £6 to £7 15s; dairy cows, £7 10s to £8; bulls, £7 5s to £lO 10s.
