Bay Of Plenty Farmers To Tour Ruakura Station
Advice has been received by the Provincial Secretary of the Bay of Plenty Province of Federated Farmers, Mr E. J. Vosper, that the Wai-kato-Bay of Plenty Educational Committee of the organisation has arranged that parties of 30 farmers, shall be taken over the Animal Research Station at Ruakura at different times during 1950.
It has been arranged that these parties should be small, as it has been found in the past that larger parties have proved unweildly and less personal information has been gained by those making the tour.
A farm week is to be held next May. Of this two days will be devoted to meat and wool farrriers and two to dairy while one day will be given to the combined classes.
