AWAKERI MAN MISSING SINCE JANUARY 3

Last *-cm in King Street cycling into town at 9.30 on Tuesday morning, Mr Norman Cox, an unmarried farmer, of Awakeri, is missing. His friends say lie suffered fits of depression. Despite; a radio call and a police search, there was no trace of Mr Cox this morning. He is 47 years old, sft 7 inches tall, dark complexioned, and has dark. hair greying at the temples, slightly bald on the top of the head. When last seen he was wearing dark brown tweed trousers, a grey flannel singlet, no shirt and an old grey felt hat. The bicycle he rode was old and rusty.
