WHAKATANE MAORI SHIELD TEAMS
The following Maori tennis players have been chosen by the sole selector, Mr P. Howell, to represent Whakatane against Rangitaiki at Kawerau on Monday for the Merito Hetaraka Memorial -Shield:— Men: S. Davis, M. Hotene, H. Ranapia, T. Riini, B. Taylor, S. Wano. Women: G. Allison;. D. Harawira, I. Grant, M. Howell, M. Wahapango, R. Hotene. The bus will leave town at 8 a.m. ?
Other teams will play for the same trophy:— \ Whakatohea v Waimana at Waimana, Ruatoki v Ruatahuna at Ruatoki.
