Successful Gladiolus Show At Whakatane
Some fine blooms which, in the opinion of the judges, compared more than favourably with exhibits in shows in larger centres were dis-' played at the annual show s of the Whakatane Gladiolus Society yesterday. Large entries made it one J of the most successful yet held and the champion bloom, Mrs V. J. McCallion’s Firebrand, was one of the outstanding flowers of the show. The runner-up was W. J.
