Otakiri W.I. Holds Final 1949 Meeting

Mrs Carr presided over a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Otakiri W. 1., the final meeting of the year. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs L. Winters for the capable manner in which she handled the arrangements at the biannual council meeting. It was decided to nominate a New Zealand delegate to attend the A.C.W.W. conference,' to be held in Copenhagen in 1950. After some discussion it was decided that in future monthly meetings will be held in the evening as from February next on the second Wednesday in every month.
