Vicar Appointed For Whakatane
The appointment of the Reverend Terrence M. Loten, present vicar of Takapau, as the new vicar of the Whakatane Parish has been confirmed by the Bishop of Waiapu. The Rev Loten is to be instituted at Whakatane on Tuesday, January 24, 1950.
