Light Horse Rally At Ohiwa
The Ohope Light Horse Club’s second rally, held at Ohiwa yesterday, provided a splendid day’s fun for riders and spectators, of whom .there was a good muster. Competition results: Pony scurry: D. C. Stevens’s Sholto 1, D. Reid’s Patch and Miss J. Clough’s Pixie, ■"dead beat, 2. Trotting race: Pixie 1, B. Nixon’s Jimmy Boy (L. Nattrass) 2, N. Smith’s Lady Gay 3. ■Open Steepelchase, Ist division: J. Moore’s Nippy 1, Lady Gay 2, Pixie 3. 2nd division: R. Gordon’s Victory (Rex Bartlett) 1, J. Moore’s Waterport (B. Nixon) 2, Miss V. E. Coker’s Master* Kerei 3. Pony Jump: Master Kerei and Sholto, equal, 1.
