SUNDAY CRICKET

Sir, —Why all the fuss over cricket on Sunday? There are worse things than cricket done on Sunday. I agree.that sport should not interfere with church and as far as i can see no sport is doing so. There are three services iii most churches and all sportsmen have the opportunity of attending at least two What more can be asked than that? I would suggest that we New Zealanders grow up and begin to take a broader view of the world and forget the somewhat narrow and rather outdated ideas of our forbears. ' Yours etc. AMUSED CHURCHGOER.
