Labour Candidate's Campaign

' Following addresses at Raukokore„ and Te kaha and a tour of outback localities last week, the Labour candidate for Bay of Plenty, Mr Godfrey Santon/ returned home at the. week-end, and addressed electors at Kutarere on Saturday night. He reports that he was well-received both at Raukokore and Te Kaha, where he dealt particularly with the Government's land policy. The Kutarere audience seemed strongly representative of National Party supporters, and the candidate was kept busy, at question time, though given an attentive hearing during his main address. He speaks at Taneatua on Thursday night.
