Light Horse Club Gets Good Start
With bright weather on Saturday afternoon, the newly-formed Ohope Light Horse Club had" a good opening rally with a good attendance of riders and supporters. A small gymkhana programme , put the horses paces, with the following results:— , Junior jump, D. Reid's Patch 1, T. Dawson's Billy 2, N. Smith's Lady Gay 3. Senior jump, Rex Bartlett 1, M. Gillander's Golden Princess 2, J. Moore's Nippy 3. Dual jump, Nippy and Lady Gay 1. Consolation jump, Golden Princess 1, D. C. Stevens's Sholto 2, J. Clough's -Blackjack 3. Junior bending, D. Reid 1, A. Fowell 2. Senior, bending, R. Denton 1, D. Reid 2.
