NOISY MEETING?
Sir,—ln reference to the farmer Labour candidate’s meeting held in the Waimana Hall on Monday night I would Ijke to say that in my j opinion'this meeting was very poorly attended, which is very unusual for Waimana.-' Also it was one of the noisiest meetings I have heard, and the audience did not give the candidate courteous attention at all. I would like to point out we would like the truth concerning these meetings. ( Yours etc., DEMOCRATIC.
Mr Santon, when speaking to the Beacon on Tuesday concerning this meeting, expressed satisfaction with the attendance, and made no complaints about discourteous interruptions from the audience. Editor.
