Rowing

FIRST TRIAL FOUR RACES TOMORROW The first trial fours for the season is to be conducted by the Whakatane Rowing Club tomorrow commencing at about 9.30 a.m. These races will be carried on through the season and will probably be held once a fortnight to give crews some racing experience. Tomorrow’s competition will be for the Bergman Trophy, one of the finest trophies owned by the Club.
