New Gospel Hall Opened
Seating accommodation was .overtaxed for the opening of the new Gospel Hall in Stewart Street on Sunday night, in spite of foul weather. The densely packed audience, some of whom sat on the floor or leaned against the walls, listened with rapt attention to a masterly address by Mr Robert A. Laidlaw, M.8.E., who included some of his wartime experiences overseas as organiser of the “Everyman’s” rest and recreational services.
