Van Overturns
On Monday afternoon a Powdr Board van driven by Mr M. Ramson, of Whakatane, overturned on the bad S-bend near the Edgecumbe railway station on the road in from Matata. This same bend, badly surfaced just now, was the scene of a similar accident to a car not long ago. Though the vehicle suffered considerable damage, the driver was fortunately unhurt.
