SUNDAY CRICKET
Sir, —There are some aspects 6f Sunday sport which the President of the Taneatua Cricket Club may not have considered. Some of us cling to the old truth, “If the Sunday goes, the Church goes. If the Church goes, the home goes. If the home goes, the nation goes.” This saying will bear investigation. Are the Sunday cricketers a Church going company? Do broken homes Abound among Church-going people? Does nation prosper apart from a sound and strong home-life? The United Cricket Club delegates are more reasonable than some people think. Yours etc., FAITH.
