Woman “Found” Wrong Man
A young woman in Salford (Lancashire) Court, confronted by an elderly man whom she’d summoned for variation of a paternity order, admitted he was a stranger to her. She’d seen his name in a telephone directory, and, as he bore the same name as the man she wanted to trace, she’d had the police serve him with a summons. Magistrate awarded £3 3s costs against the woman.
