PERSONAL
Following a short visit to Whakatane last week the Right Rev N. A. Lesser, Bishop of Waiapu, left on Friday for Rotorua.
Mr R. King, of the staff of the Bank of New- Zealapd at Whakatane, left yesterday to take up a relieving position on the Te Puke branch of the bank.
Mr W. W. Freer, Labour M.P. for Mt. Albert, who addressed a meeting'at Whakatane on Wednesday night, travelled to Opotiki and gave another election address there on the following night. He spent Friday at Whakatane and returned to Auckland on Saturday.
