Edgecumbe’s Fallen Sons Honoured

A memorial plaque, dedicated to the memory of men of the Edgecumbe district who lost their lives on service over seas during World War II has arrived, and will be unveiled with appropriate ceremony at the Edgecumbe School, which is to house it until the projected Memorial Halli is built. Proceeds of a collection to be taken up at the bonfire at Mr D. S. Radcliffe’s place on November 5 will go towards the costs of organising the unveiling, and any surplus will go to the Memorial Hall committee.
