Grand Awakeri Concert

On Wednesday, October 19 a most entertaining concert programme has been drawn up by Awakeri residents to be held in the Awakeri Hall. The proceeds from the concert are to help boost the Community Centre fund. An active concert committee has prepared a very comprehensive list of items and no effort has been spared by those directly concerned with the organising. Variety will be the keynote of the whole show, and some excellent local talent, with assistance from several willing visiting artists should assure the general public of a first class night’s entertainment. The concert committee therefore hopes for a full house to help swell the Community Centre funds, which in spite of steady efforts, are still a very long way short of the mark; so 1 roll up people and see this excellent show. —P.B.A.
