Another Radio Station

Another new broadcasting station which will probably provide an alternative programme for Bay of Plenty listeners is to come on the air on Saturday at 8 p.m. Situated at Gisborne the station, 2XG, has ben operating for some years but from Saturday it will come on the air at an increased strength of two kilowatts and will observe the same hours as IXN Whangarei and IXH. Hamilton and will operate on a frequency of 1010 kilocycles, 297 metres.
