Relieving School Teacher Thanked By Waimana Pupils
On Wednesday afternoon opportunity was taken by the Waimana School to say “Thank you” to Miss B. Wardlaw, who has been an * assistant teacher at the Waimana School for the past year. Patricia Eagle presented Miss Wardlaw with a posy, after which concert items were given by the pupils. At the conclusion Lynette Hampton, one of the school prefects, then presented the guest with a leather bound photo album and expressed the ' appreciation of the pupils for the fine work she had done.
Mr Potter, the Headmaster, said how much he was indebted to Miss Wardlaw for coming to his aid during the acute shortage of teachers.
