New Traffic Bridge Site Supported
Full support of the proposal to build the new traffic bridge to Whakatane below the board mills was expresed by members of the Whakatane Harbour Board on Friday. The chairman, Mr W. R. Boon, said it was a .good proposition for the Board to have the bridge built in the position. He thought that it would, be even worth while to contribute towards the cost of forming the road from the bridge to ■ the town.
