Intermediate championship (semi-final): Mbllgaard beat Barry. Junior championship (semi-final): Stone beat Stewart. Consolation Flights: Senior: Pattison beat Cutfield, R. T. Morpeth beat Alexander, Connery beat Blake, Akel beat Spence; semi-final: Conway beat Akel. Intermediate: Bushett beat B. L. Butler, Morgan beat Watson, Cantrell beat Oswald.

VETERANS PLAY COLTS TOMORROW Tomorrow the Veterans and Colts competitions will be played at the Whakatane golf links, members 45 and over qualifying for the Veterans. The winners will be decided on the best nett scores returned in each division. Play will be in fourball formation, players arranging their own partners. On Sunday the finals of the club championships, will be played over 36 holes by the following finalists:

Senior: L. D. Luxton v I. A. Wylds. Intermediate•• Mollgaard v Bradshaw. Junior: Stone v the winner between Campbell and Moore.
