80 Claim Snuff King's Fortune
Eighty people, all of the surname of Schaeffer, have gone to Bonn, Western Germany, to claim a fortune made from snuff. It is the 30 million dollar estate of an American manufacturer who died without leaving a will. His widow, Mrs Garrett, whose maiden name was Schaeffer, died 20 years ago. A search for her relatives has been going on since. So far, 26,000 people in 24 countries have laid claims to the estate.
