Attempt On Land Speed Record
America is to attempt the land speed record, probably this year at the Bonneville Salt Flats at Utah. The car is being prepared now, and is gas propelled. The turbine will drive through torque converters and Mauri Rose, famous Indianapolis driver, is currently expected to drive.
