31,091 Names On Maori Rolls

There are now 31,091 persons enrolled on the four Maori electoral rolls, according to the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser. The Northern roll has 7927 names, the Western 10,406, the Eastern 11,506, and the Southern 1252. The rolls closed on June 20. Thirty thousand voted in the Maori electorates at the last general election.
