Full Yarding Of Cattle At Te Teko

A full yarding of fat, store and dairy cattle were auctioned to a large and representative bench of local and outside buyers at the Te Teko sale on Monday, reports the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. Competition was keen on the store cattle side; that of dairy was slow to begin but developed as the sale progressed reaching a high standard before the close. Prices were;—

Fat cows, £9 to £l4; fat heifers, £7 10s to £9 10s; store cows, £6 2s 6d to £7 12s 6d; store heifers, £4 to £7; Jersey bulls, £8 15s to £9 15s; dairy heifers. £l2 to £25; dairy cows £lO to £ls.
