Murupara Settlers’ Clothing Appeal

Although public response to an appeal for clothing and furniture for settlers from Europe now living at Murupara- has been satisfactory, more items are needed to make their houses comfortable before their wives and families arrive today. This was reported at a special meeting of the New Settlers Welfare Committee called to discuss the progress of an appeal launched two weeks ago.

Any articles of furniture or clothing are required. Particularly needed are three cots and mattresses for children, seven lamps and tables and chairs.
