WATER SUPPLY LOAN 1948, £25,000 Pm-suant to section 11 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Whakatane, will be taken on WEDNESDAY the 14th day of September 1949, on the proposal of the Whakatane Borough Council to borrow the sum of Twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000), for the purpose of constructing a reservoir, intake and low lift pumping station, flocculation plant, purchasing and installing a rising main, pipes, motor, pumps (including spares) and general equipment, engineering fees and land purchase.
