Coming-Of-Age Party At Ohope
Guests at the coming-of-age party to Miss Joan Harrison at the Captain's Cabin at Ohope on Wednesday night enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The guest of honour, to j whom the party was a complete surprise, enjoyed it most of all. Her friends crowded the Cabin, the evening passing all too quickly, with dancing and music. Monte Carlo winners were Mrs Jerrome and Mr Chapman. Items were provided by Miss D. Stewart and Messrs A. Stew’art and G. Paterson (trio), Mrs R. Kenny (song accompanied by Miss J. Harrison), Misses Pat and Vivienne Murphy (piano duet).
