PATON' IN N.Z. SEMI-FINAL Although playing good table tennis throughout to reach the semifinals F. Paton, Whakaiane, representing the Bay of Plenty was defeated in the semi-final of the men’s singles by M. Chapman, Wellington, 21/19, 21/14, 21/14 in the North Island Table Tennis Championships, which were' concluded at Napier on Saturday. Chapman was defeated by J. Crossley who won the event.
