Correction

In the last issue of the Beacon it was reported that the Mayor, Mr B. S. Barry, had said that part oi the town planning scheme was to keep as much traffic off. the streets as possible. This was ‘not so, Mr Barry has pointed out to the Beacon. What, he had said was that the scheme had been planned to keep as much through traffic out of ihe main town streets as possible.
