FINE WEATHER & GOOD GOING AT TE TEKO HUNT
Fine weather and good ground made Saturday’s hunt at Te Teko a good show for horses and riders, though the course was not .without, its hazards, and there were one oir two falls but without serious consequences. Hounds had one or two runs, but no kills. Following morning tea at the Te Teko hall, served by local women supporters, the hunt moved off over the usual course, headed by the Ward Master, Mr G. D. Fogerty on Ranger, the Huntsman, Mr T. Black on Strawberry. Conditions generally were excellent for followers, some of whom came from as far away as Tauranga. Amongst iriders: G. Black Little Mexican, J. Thompson Iron Bark, Bert Sharp Tenterhooks, C. Goldsmith Red, W. Goldsmith Prince, Miss V. Orr and A. Reid Lassie, R. Bartlett Sherwood Forest, R. Gordon Findout, K.
