BAY OF PLENTY MEN IN NORTH ISLAND TRIALS
Bay of Plenty and South Auckland Maori League trials were played at Rotorua last Sunday, South Auckland winning by 24—5. Selected to play in the North Island trials on August 3 at Auckland:— R. Martin (S.A.) A. Berryman (S.A.), S. Toka (S.A.), W. Turner (S.A.) W. Phillips (S.A.), R. Hohua (8.0. P.) Loose forward: T. Tonga (S.A.) 2nd row: F. Williams (S.A.), A. Hilton (S.A.) Front row: T. Thompson (8.0. P.), J. Tupaea (S.A.), S. Norman (S.A.) Reserves: D.' Marsha, J. Pawsoir; W. Aaaki, K. Nathan, all South Auckland.
