Junior National Party “Get-Together”

A bright and happy “get-togther” was held in the Taneatua hall when members of the Taneatua Junior National Party invited members of the Whakatane Junior ■ National Party to a social and dance. Dancing to music played by Messrs A. Wardlaw, G. Grey and T. McGougan occupied most of the evening, ■but there was also ping pong and community ringing. After the lights went out a quiz was conducted by Mr R. Hill and supper was served. Mr A. Wardlaw spoke of the pleasure it was to have the Whakatane members as guests of the evening Mr S. Sharp replied for the Whakatane members and thanked the Taneatua branch for their invitation and the opportunity to get to know each other.
