MR T. P. BRIDGER
For many 1 years one of Whakatane’s most successful businessmen and one of the older residents of the Eastern Bay of Plenty Mr'T Thomas Percy. Bridger died at Wha“p katane this week at the age of 76i Spending most of his life in the* Bay of Plenty Mr Bridger first went into the furnishing business of his father at Opotiki. For many years he. stayed there and then the business was sold and he moved to Whakatane 30 years ago and started a business, \vh:.:h now ranks as one of the biggest furnishing stores in the town. A rather retiring man Mr Bridger kept out of public affairs, his only two interests being bowling and his business. He is survived by one son, Mr Alan Bridger. • l
