Sir, —Your paragraph under the title “Interesting, isn’t it?” explaining that “Hear, hear!” is a corruption of “Hear him!” may be interesting but I’ll lay “five pun to a gooseberry that it aint true. When I say “Here, here!” I mean “and the same sentiments here” or “that goes for me too.”', Maybe I’m different from parliamentarians, though.
