I BAY OF PLENTY INCLUDED j IN MAORI TRIALS i Extensive plans for trial games | for the selection of a New Zealand Maori League team to meet the touring Australian team at New Plymouth on September 28 have been prepared by the New Zealand Maori Board of Control, according to the president of the Bay of Plenty Rugby League Union, Mr T. Tawera. The Bay of Plenty is to take part in the trials and will play Waikato at Rotorua on July 24. From this game a combined team will be picked to play North AucklandAuckland combined at Auckland. The final trial game will be between these northern players and a team from Wellington, Taranaki and Wanganui played at Auckland on September 7.
