Good Prices For Grade Jerseys
The dispersal sale of Messrs Rae Bros, grade herd, held on theirproperty, Station Road, Whakatane, on June 29, proved to be one of the most successful fixtures conducted in the district this season. The herd which consisted of mostly young cows, came forward in splendid condition and created keen competition from a large bench of buyers. The top price realised was £35 and an average of £lB 13s was obtained over the total of 69 cows.
Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd. were the auctioneers.
