BAY OF PLENTY OUTCLASSED BY WEST COAST (Special to Beacon) ROTORUA, July 6. Completely outplayed in both forwards and backs the Bay of Plenty was defeated by the touring West Coast team by 55 points to nil in a representative rugby League match at Kauira Park this afternoon. This is the first time the West Coast has played at Rotorua. The game was not a bright spectacle and became monotonous as the visitors piled up point after point. The West Coast team included the New Zealand Kiwi representatives Mcßride, R. Aynsley and K. Nuttall. For the home team R. Hohua was the outstanding player. AH first five-eighths he repeatedly cut the opposition to pieces, but received no support from outside him. In the forwards Dumbo and Whetu were the pick of the home bunch.
