In the Magistrate’s Court at Whakatane on Tuesday, Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., gave judgment for plaintiffs by default in the following civil claims: .Cutlers Hardware Ltd. v K. P. Dhanjee 17s Id, costs £3 Is; State Advances Corporation v Ronald Alfred Johnson £lO6, • costs £6 18s. On judgment summonses: R. S. Yardlev was ordered to pay Jareds W. Goodhew Ltd. £8 7s fid and solicitor’s fee 15s 6d, in default 8 days’ gaol; Mark Huta to pay D. Dahya £2l 12s 10s and solicitor’s fee 21s at the rate of £2 a month, in default 21 days’ gaol; Tom Mahaki to pay James W. Goodhew Ltd £ll 3s and solicitor’s fee 15s 6d, in default 11 days’ gaol.
