GOOD PLAY IMPOSSIBLE ON WET COURTS Rain made good play impossible in the games of the Whakatane Basketball Association played on the new Domain grass courts on Saturday. Wet grass and mud made it difficult for players to keep on their feet and the need for hard courts was seriously felt. Results:— Matatua 6 v The Stewarts 4, Poroporo 12 v Redwings 8, Paroa A 20 v Ruatoki 7, Olympics 38 v The Mcßaes 2, Paroa Minors 16 v Taneatua 13.
